Health
Your health is your wealth! This is something I’ve always heard but it never dawned on me how serious this statement was until I lost my grandmother to Subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2008. I realized how much that experience shaped my actions in such a way that I am more conscious about my health than I was before. Though I’ve probably forgotten many times about the seriousness of my health, I am often reminded by people who care about me to take care of myself.
Spend time taking care of yourself and ensure you remain healthy. It’s the only asset that is guaranteed to give you the return on life. When all is said and done, we shouldn’t be spending our wealth to fix our health if we could enjoy a healthy life. Eating right, exercising our body and mind are great ways towards a healthy lifestyle.
As entrepreneurs, it’s easy to get lost in work and the big chase of our dreams but taking care of our health is one of the best things we can do for ourselves. Thanks to the shift in health and wellness, the world is becoming more health conscious and people are taking the steps towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We now have gadgets and technology that can help us to do that and even make being healthy a lot more fun than it used to be.
I think we will see a lot more push towards being more healthy, as the flip side of the coin is resulting in far too many illnesses and diseases that we are now making healthier choices. In the next decade or so more of these choices are coming and perhaps even by default, where we no longer think about our health like we do today but instead a healthy lifestyle is part of our DNA, it happens naturally. Living a healthy lifestyle will be what the internet is to us today. Healthology may be a term we might begin to use to describe how we think about health on a personal or macro level. As the imagination stretches there soon might also be Health of Things (HoT) that follows a similar path as IoT. Who knows what the world is thinking.
